NATALIE & DANIEL

July 6th, 2024

Natalie & Daniel celebrated their wedding on July 6th, 2024 in St. Marys. It was a beautiful, sunny summer day, with friends and family coming together to celebrate their long-awaited nuptials.

St. Marys Golf & Country Club is a beautiful wedding venue, offering stunning outdoor ceremony spaces, bridal suites, exceptional service and coordination, and one of the best venue sunsets I've seen. With plenty of space to move between the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, it's a venue that makes it easy to enjoy the entire day and be truly present.

Daniel got ready for the day at the nearby Westover Inn, just over a five-minute drive from the venue. The inn is charming, quaint, and quiet, making it a great spot to slow down and enjoy the morning before the wedding festivities began. With plenty of space to get ready and spend time with friends and family, the morning felt relaxed and unhurried.

The short drive to St. Marys Golf & Country Club also made the transition from getting ready to the ceremony incredibly easy. It gave Daniel and his family a comfortable place to spend the morning without having to worry about a long commute or rushing to get to the venue. The historic character of the inn also made for a beautiful backdrop for those quieter getting ready moments before heading off to the wedding.

Natalie got ready for the day in the bridal suite at St. Marys Golf & Country Club. The space was equipped with couches, mirrors, a spot for snacks, and exposed brick, with plenty of room for the hair and makeup artists, bridesmaids, MOB, and myself to comfortably spend the morning together.

Natalie was a ray of sunshine that morning. With her girls by her side, they listened to early 2000s music, snacked, laughed, and got excited for the day ahead. She incorporated a few really special family details into her morning, including hair pieces that had been worn by her mother on her own wedding day. As the morning went on, Natalie traded her silky bridal robe for the ultimate princess gown and veil, before sharing a beautiful first look with her bridesmaids and then her father.

The Ceremony

The ceremony at St. Marys Golf & Country Club took place outdoors on a beautiful, bright and sunny day. Guests were welcomed to mingle on the patio beside the ceremony space before taking their seats. The ceremony itself was set beneath a charming gazebo, complete with a centred chandelier that added a beautiful touch to the outdoor setting.

Natalie & Daniel chose not to share a first look beforehand, making the moment they saw each other for the first time that day as Natalie walked down the aisle extra special. In front of their closest friends and family, they exchanged personal vows and officially began this next chapter together.

Reception

The reception space was filled with long harvest tables covered in greenery, candles and sheet music to honour their musical theatre background. This was such a lovely personal touch.

They entered the space after both groomsmen & bridesmaids were announced and went straight into their beautifully choreographed first dance.

The reception was MC'd by each of their siblings and featured both heartfelt and funny speeches throughout the evening before the dance floor opened up, playing a mix of crowd pleasers and of course, musical theatre tunes.
